JOHNNY FARRELL GOLF

For over 8 decades Johnny Farrell had a starring role in the development of the game of golf. In his short playing career he amassed 27 professional victories, including a 1927 winning streak of 8 in a row. Perhaps best known as the 1928 US Open Champion who beat Bobby Jones he also was a star participant in the first three Ryder Cup Matches.  Trusted teacher to 5 presidents, countless Hollywood stars, developer of junior and women's golf programs, broadcast pioneer of a 1950s golf television show, writer of 3 books, innovative philanthropist supporting military veterans and patriarch to 1966 Golf Family of the Year.
